Terms & Conditions
Please carefully review the following terms and conditions before enrolling in any of our courses or events at Daley Thompson Academies, trading as "Aspire to Greatness." By completing any booking form and registering yourself or another person for any Aspire to Greatness event, camp, workshop, or course, you and the registered person are indicating your agreement to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy:
Fees and Payments:
1.1 All course fees must be paid in full before the course commencement, in two automatic instalments or in monthly instalments over the duration of the term. If a cancellation is made up to 48 hours after booking a full refund will be given minus 10% admin fee. No refunds will be give (unless at particular discretion) 48 hours before commencement of the first session/club.
1.2 If there are available spaces after a course has started, individuals may join and pay for the remaining sessions.
1.3 Please note that Daley Thompson Academies / Aspire to Greatness exercises discretion over refunds for courses or products.
1.4 For termly courses, rebooking for the upcoming term must be completed before the current term ends. We provide a 2-week booking window to secure your child's place for the next term. Cancellation Notice:
2.1 For memberships 30 day written notice to the office cancelling your membership
Behaviour and Conduct:
3.1 For all Aspire to Greatness courses, children are required to attend classes in suitable kit , including shorts and a t-shirt, and wear trainers. Hair should be tied back, and all jewelry should be removed. Additionally, children should bring a non-breakable water bottle containing water only.
3.2 Children attending our junior courses must be picked up directly from the sports hall. Children will not be allowed to leave the hall without an adult present.
3.3 We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for verbal and physical abuse directed towards our staff, other children, or parents.
3.4 Any behaviour that is deemed unacceptable by children or parents may result in immediate membership cancellation and permanent exclusion. Term Dates - Aspire to Greatness Junior Courses:
4.1 The first term will run from Monday, October 30th, until Monday, December 11th, inclusive
4.2 Subsequent terms will align with Surrey school term dates. There will be no training during half-term breaks.
4.3 The second term will begin on Monday, January 8th, 2018, and conclude on Monday, March 26th, with no training on Monday, February 12th, due to the half-term break. Photography:
5.1 Photographs and video footage of pupils taken by Aspire to Greatness may be used on our website and for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child's image to be used for these purposes, please notify us in writing. Limitation of Liability:
6.1 Aspire to Greatness does not accept responsibility for loss, damage, or injury resulting from errors or omissions on the registration form, whether completed by you or the person responsible for your child at the time of enrolment.
6.2 Our liability does not extend to death or personal injury to any child attending our classes unless such injury is caused by negligence. 6.3 Aspire to Greatness is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
6.4 We do not accept responsibility for any loss or expense due to circumstances beyond our control, including transportation, fire, weather, and other unforeseen events.
6.5 We are only responsible for supervising students while they are in class. Children cannot be supervised while they are outside of class.
6.6 Aspire to Greatness Juniors maintains Public Liability Insurance. Limitation of Liability:
7.1 Daley Thompson Academies, trading as Aspire to Greatness, disclaims all responsibility under any circumstances for any loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, expense, injury, or delay suffered or incurred by the parent, the child, or any other party directly or indirectly related to the attendance of an individual at our courses or events.
7.2 For safeguarding purposes a parent or nominated adult must attend for the duration of a community club in which their child is participating.
